Business VOIP looks promising in 2007

VOIP Guide had covered many articles on Free voip and free international calls in the past, but some of your readers belong to the business category and they always requested VOIP guide to review if business VOIP can be of any help in saving cost.

Although, in today's article I won't be discussing about any specific business VOIP service I will try to discuss how Business VOIP might perform in 2007.

Since the last couple of month, investors around the world are discussing how US market slowdown might impact economies worldwide. I read those stories specifically written by bearish market analyst about housing bubbles and auto industry slowdowns in USA. I always wonder if those stories are written exclusively for some companies :-) I myself is a heavy investor in multiple markets across europe/USA and asia was keeping a close eye on investment trends. Although I initially thought that market would tumble at some stage, it never did. Especially after the recent Fed meetings, the trends look promising.

How this bearish and bullish market trend will possibly impact the growth of Business VOIP. Some people always relate growth to market bullishness. In my opinion however, VOIP is a great arsenal for businesses to save cost, especially when it's tougher to sustain market downfalls. Whether it's bullish or bearish market, there is surely an upward trend as more and more businesses switch fully or partially to business VOIP. Businesses are saving millions of $$$ per year.

One of the other major benefit is IP to IP VOIP services used by some businesses, so called VOIP via VPN services. These services literally rock especially during disasters such as earthquakes etc. Recently during the taiwan earthquake, I lost contact with my fellow koreans via IDD however we could re-route all calls via VOIP and still continue the business. These days for all businesses, contingency planning is equally important. Businesses can loose a potential customer if they are down for even minutes. For data diversification and BCP, VOIP is the best choice for businesses today.

The future for business VOIP looks very promising and 2007 will be a year to remember when more and more leading businesses are switching or investing in Business VOIP services.
