Get Zfone Secure your VOIP Calls

zfone
There are numerous reports published in 2008 that VOIP could face massive intrusion attacks. The attacks could be directly targetted to Business VOIP customers or even Personal VOIP users. It doesn't matter what VOIP provider you use, you could be one of the victim.

How to save yourself from this growing Danger?

A product called Zfone does it all for you when it comes to securing your VOIP connecting over the internet. Zfone is not a VOIP client, It's like a add-on to your Softphone/SIP software. It lets you make secure calls with your existing VoIP client, by filtering, encrypting and decrypting all your VoIP media packets as they pass in and out of your computer. Zfone sits between the VoIP client and the Internet, giving you total protection.

Zfone has been tested with these VoIP clients: X-Lite,Gizmo Project,XMeeting,OpenWengo,Google Talk VoIP client, and SJphone.

We earlier posted about Zfone, however they recently built a new version of the client.

Unfortunately, Zfone doesnt work with Skype, since Skype uses proprietary protocol to transmit voice data over the internet.

It now supports ICE and works better with Asterisk PBX systems (the new version of Asterisk that will have ZRTP support), and works with other non-SIP VoIP clients such as GoogleTalk

You can download Zfone and test it out with your SIP Softphone.
