Toktumi Line2 Mobile VOIP Phone Service review

line2
Yesterday, we discussed how apple approved toktumi's Line2 App. Today we look at what Line2 Mobile VOIP really offers to consumers. Lets review the new toktumi line2 app.

Toktumi Line2 is purely a mobile VOIP service directly competing with Google Voice for Mobile which is yet to be approved by Apple and currently fighting a legal battle. While Google Voice struggles to make its way into Apple iphone App store, toktumi's Line2 sneaked in easily.

Line2 offers a second line with voicemail to your cell phone. You can place or receive calls from either number. Each has its own voicemail, call history, and contacts. Basically, line2 will make your handset work with 2 phone numbers. One real mobile number and one virtual phone number assigned by Toktumi.

You can get an 800 number, a local number, or even transfer over an existing number. Unlike other mobile VOIP applications, Line2 uses mobile network rather than wifi. This could be the selling point for toktumi while getting the apple (AT&T) approval :-)

Line2 totally relies on the Toktumi's VOIP service backend to offers its services. That means all line2 users will get some great VOIP services to utilize such astoktum's powerful hosted PBX system, which offers advanced features like call screening, auto attendant, do not disturb, conferencing, and after hours call handling. That itself makes Line2 a perfect business mobile VOIP service.

Additionally, you can configure Line2 as complete office phone system with centralized billing for your entire company by combining all office accounts. It also offers international calls at cheap calling rates. Guess, you would like to pass that.

As a business user, Line2 definately adds a lot of value to Mobile VOIP with PBX like features. However as a personal user, You would rather wait for Google voice for Mobile, mainly because its free and its google. heck yeah!

You can try Line2 for free for 30 days. Later its costs $15 per month. You can get Line2 for iphone or blackberry.
