Gmail enables Google Voice Call service to most users

During the last week or so, many of you existing Google Voice customers might have noticed a new popup to enable Google Voice calling from your gmail.

Google Voice is really taking the features to the masses with this one. Calling from Gmail is lot easier than calling from Google Voice dashboard for several reasons. You actually get a number pad which you can use to dial out or receive calls from people on your Google Voice number. Check Google voice blog post on recent changes

When you get a incoming call on your Google Voice number, your gmail will start ringing or if you are signed into Google Talk, it will ring. This means you can now very well say goodbye to Skype which apparently started rolling out advertisement on its platform. I haven't seen any ads yet but i believe its in beta and running on US customers.

Do you see the Google Voice calling option enabled in your Gmail? Do you like it? Do let us know.
